New heads for Airport Authority, Drainage Services, and MexCham HK.


 

Two new members in HKGCC General Committee.

Leland Sun, Managing Director of Pan Asian Mortgage Co Ltd, and Edmond Yue, Director of Wo Hing Construction Co Ltd were newly elected as members of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) General Committee, replacing Anthony Yeung (楊國琦), Chairman of Environmental International Ltd, and Andrew Yuen, Managing Director of On Kun Hong Ltd.

New boss for Drainage Services Department.

The Government has announced the appointment of Edwin Tong Ka-hung (唐嘉鴻), Project Manager of the Civil Engineering and Development Department as the Director of Drainage Services with effect from June 1, 2015.

Mr Tong is an experienced engineer who has worked for the Government for 33 years.

 

Appointments to Airport Authority.

The Government has appointed Jack So Chak-kwong (蘇澤光) as Chairman of the Airport Authority (AA) and Andrew Fung Hau-chung(馮孝忠), Billy Wong Wing-ho (黃永灝) and Allan Zeman (盛智文) as members of the AA for a term of three years from June 1, 2015.

The incumbent Chairman Vincent Lo Hong-sui (羅康瑞) and two members, namely Benjamin Hung Pi-cheng (洪丕正) and Lo Yiu-ching (盧耀楨) will leave the AA on the same day.

 

Appointments to SFC Advisory Committee.

The Financial Secretary John Tsang has appointed Jeffrey Chan (陳立德), Ding Chen (丁晨) and Yin Ke (殷可) and re-appointed nine incumbent members to the Securities and Futures Commission Advisory Committee.

 

New President for MexCham.

The Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong welcomed José Carlos Bezanilla taking over the position of President from Germán Muñoz Diaz who served the maximum two terms.

Mr Muñoz recently joined the Board of Directors of the Pacific Basin Economic Council.

Mr Carlos Bezanilla has a cross-continent profile in organisational development consulting and leadership and is currently the CEO China for Great Place to Work.
