Québec is not just home to circus powerhouses, it claims to be an ideal economic partner given its well-rounded and innovative economy.

Mr Jacques Daoust, Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Exports of the Government of Québec, appeals to business leaders in Hong Kong on September 22 at the ‘Québec: the Creative Economy’ cocktail. Accompanied by Canadian Consul General to Hong Kong Mr Ian Burchett and representatives of some 20 Québec companies, Mr Daiust highlighted the strengths and featured projects, such as Plan Nord and the Québec Maritime Strategy, of Canada’s second most populous province.

Mr Daoust concluded his speech by offering the guests a taste of ice cider and Ungava gin, both produced in Québec – a true export promoter for his province.
