Consultants for Kai Tak Sports Complex named; HKMA announces PBoC adviser shift.


 

Three companies appointed as Kai Tak Sports Complex consultants

The Government appointed Leigh & Orange Limited, WSP (HK) Limited and Urbis Limited as architectural lead consultant, building services and structural sub-consultants, and landscape sub-consultant respectively for the Kai Tak Multi-purpose Sports Complex (MPSC) project.

The technical services consultancy is part of the MPSC pre-construction work approved by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council in July 2015.

 

People’s Bank of China European representative endorses secondment to HKMA

Bao Mingyou (包明友) was seconded from the People’s Bank of China to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority with effect from February 16, 2016. He replaced his PBoC colleague, Huo Yingli (霍穎勵), as the HKMA’s Senior Adviser in the areas of financial cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland, further development of renminbi businesses in Hong Kong, and promotion of Hong Kong’s financial services industry on the Mainland.

Bao was the Chief Representative of the PBoC’s Representative Office for Europe prior to his secondment.
