On 8 August, “Zhongshan Modern Service Industry Investment Conference” was held in World Trade Centre Hong Kong. Distinguished guests include Deputy Director of Guangdong Province’s Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office Li Yangchun (李陽春), Deputy Head of Economy Division, Liaison Office Yang Wenming (楊文明), and Mainland Relations Manager of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Edmund Yiu Yun-yu (姚潤瑜).
At the conference, Vice Mayor of Zhongshan Yang Wenlong (楊文龍) gave a presentation on investments and service industry development in Zhongshan. Deputy Director of Guangdong Province’s Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office Li Yangchun (李陽春) claimed that Zhongshan is expected to act as a “non-official Free Trade Zone” in the future.
At the end of the conference, Hong Kong Young Professionals Alliance, along with a number of companies, signed multiple agreements over investments in FinTech, gaming, and services.
