AmCham president off to Hawaii to lead East-West Center
Richard Vuylsteke, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong for the past eight years, has been named the next President of the East-West Center Board, Honolulu, Hawaii and will likely assume the new post in early 2017.
Dr Vuylsteke obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Hawaii and served in research and administrative capacities at the East-West Center and taught for many years at the University of Hawaii and at Chaminade University. Previously he served as President of the American Chamber in Taipei, Editor-in-Chief of the Taiwan Review, and Area Studies Coordinator for the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Institute in Taipei.
Developers join to M+ Board
The Board of M+ visual culture museum has announced the re-appointment of six existing members by the Board of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority for a two-year term from 23 October 2016 to 22 October 2018 and the appointment of two new members with effect from 1 November 2016 until the next Annual General Meeting of M Plus Museum Limited.
Victor LO Chung-wing (羅仲榮) and Vincent Lo Wing-sang (羅榮生) have been re-appointed as chairman and vice-chairman of the board respectively. The two new members are Daryl Ng Win-kong (黃永光), Executive Director of Sino Group, and Benjamin Cha Yiu-chung (查燿中), CEO of Grosvenor Asia Pacific.
