New leadership for DPHK; Frederick Ma named head of EdUHK council.
Wu Chi-wai elected as Democratic Party’s new chairman
Wu Chi-wai (胡志偉) has been named the new chairman of the Democratic Party following an uncontested run, with Lo Kin-hei (羅健熙) and Li Wing-shing (李永成) as his vices.
Wu, the only sitting lawmaker among the three, has pledged to stop a second term for CY Leung and to use “all means and reasonable procedure” to stand against the otherwise unchecked government and the pro-establishment camp, citing filibustering as a possible option.
