HKGNA elevates HK arts through classical music spectacular

Hong Kong Generation Next Arts, HKGNA held its 5th edition of the HKGNA Music Festival this year, featuring renowned artists from around the world on 19-27 October 2018. 
On Friday 19th October evening, Grammy award-winning violinist James Ehnes performed with pianist Andrew Armstrong. There was a great welcoming speech by Ms Michelle Kim, founder of HKGNA then followed by a speech from the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Mrs Cherry Tse and Consul General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao, Jeff Nankivell.
“An Evening of Strings” was held on Saturday 27th October featuring Sejong Soloists, Violinist William Wei, Violist Paul Laraia, Cellist Na-Young Baek, they were joined by Hong Kong’s best string players, Violinist Jing Wang, Yingna Zhao, Rami Yoo, Violist Andrew Ling, and Cellist Richard Bamping.
