The four-part series for the Business Environment Council’s upcoming conference centres around the transformation of Hong Kong’s urban transport into a system focused on sustainability and the people it serves.
The Business Environment Council’s EnviroSeries Conference is going online this year to tackle the future of sustainability in regards to Hong Kong’s transportation with the theme “Urban Transport on the Move: Connecting Policies, People and Business Opportunities”.
This conference is a four-session event which will take place on 27 November, with each session focusing on different aspects of urban transport:
- Session 1: Planning for a Sustainable and People-centric Urban Transport System
- Session 2: Future Private Mobility and Public Transport
- Session 3: Business Innovation and Opportunities in Post-COVID-19 Urban Mobility
- Session 4: Promoting Active and Inclusive Transport
Each session features a panel of experts who will speak individually before engaging in a panel discussion. Guest speakers include Steve Yiu (Principal Advisor, Property Planning at MTR Corporation, Alok Jain (Managing Director at Trans-Consult Asia Ltd. and Expert Trainer at International Association of Public Transport (UITP)), and Bronwen Thornton (CEO of Walk21).
