Join others in a unifying night of live music to appreciate the musical diversity of the European Union while winding down at the end of 2020. An early-bird discount is available until 15 November!
What better way is there to bring together the community at the end of an unprecedented year than with an evening of live music? Hong Kong – not to mention the rest of the world – has gone through a challenging year but this does not mean that 2020 cannot end on a happy note!
Planning to do just that are the German Consulate General in Hong Kong and the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao, through their joint organisation of “Europe x Hong Kong: United in Diversity”, a concert set to take place in the Hong Kong City Hall on Sunday, 29 November 2020 at 7:30PM.
The talented musicians of Ponte Orchestra and Sound of the Earth Music and Arts Foundation will be playing a diverse set of music from classical to pop originating from the European Union to honour the variety and uniqueness in European musical identity. Some of the selections to be played the night of the concert include the songs “You Raise Me Up”, the Angry Birds Theme song, and Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”.
